Awesome Aparo Weird War cover! You've gotta love the Swan and Tuska covers too. Nice choices NC!

Oh man, yet another illustration where Marvel and DC differ, Marvel makes Frankenstein a Nazi, and DC has Frank as a G.I. fighting Nazis. Weird.

Wow, great entry. I love to see all the interpretations. You almost could have had an entire countdown of Frankenstein comic covers.
The Superman one makes me laugh.

I love this entry. I reminds me of fun comics used to be, and how hung up they are on "realism" these days, even though they're still mostly about people in funny costumes with strange abilities.

Thanks everyone for the comments!

Mike -- I posted that Aparo cover for you!

Shawn -- Ah yes, Marvel or DC? That is an age old question!

Kirk -- I thought about doing an all things Frankenstein countdown! Maybe next year!

John -- I wish we could go back to the days when comics were more fun, printed on cheap paper and sold at the local supermarket or 7-11. We get enough realism just watching the news!

Michael -- I wish! I started digging out Frankenstein covers from my collection and realized I only had stuff from the 60's and 70's.
